EVENT INFORMATION

The Wild West Rendezvous (formerly known as “West Coast Rendezvous”)  is a very basic, old school event. It is held at the Saddle Sore Ranch, on the westernmost border of Arizona, approximately 18 miles from the California state line. It’s nothing like Sturgis or any other big commercialized biker “rally”. No huge vendor row, no $20 corn dogs and no bullshit. We do encourage vendors, but limit them mostly to mom and pop shops and people that handmake what they sell.

We host the “Blue Collar Build Off” national finals, we do old school biker games, we may hire a band or two, a couple of select vendors, nightly campfire parties, and we may buy some limited libations to give away for free (while they last, during select hours). Tips are greatly appreciated.  BYOB is also allowed and encouraged. We can’t buy everything that everyone will want, so if there is something you want, bring it.. We usually have a food/bar vendor, or some burgers and dogs to throw on the grill (while they last), and there is also a very basic selection of non-perishable food items  available in the “General Store” onsite. Camping is first come, first served and everyone is encouraged to share the same space. “Town Square” is easy walking distance from any campsite so there’s no need to drink and ride.

Admission covers your tent camping for two nights, and is just a contribution to the expenses of the party. Things like firewood, porta potties, entertainment, fuel for the generators, etc. If you just want to camp one night, it’s the same cost. (We gotta pay for the supplies, porta potties, etc  for the whole weekend no matter how many nights you show up.) We are limiting the number of tickets. This means your check in process will be faster and the campground won’t get overcrowded. Tickets will go on sale about six months before the event.

CHECK-IN

When you arrive, head to the bar to get registered. Please have your id and a printout of your ticket with you to present for your registration, or be prepared to pay cash. You will receive a wristband. Wristbands must be worn at all times.

PARKING

We welcome everyone to our event, however it caters mainly to motorcycle riders. You are more than welcome to show up in a car, truck, motorhome, etc. and park in our RV section or down in the overflow parking, area by the Flat Track, but it won’t be allowed into the main area (aka “Town Square”)  with the bikes or in the tent camping area. Additional parking fee may be charged for anything with over 3 wheels.

  • Nearby towns of Kingman, AZ, Laughlin, NV and Needles, CA for any services, shopping, etc. Casinos, jet ski rentals etc located in Laughlin (15 miles away).

  • River Rafting
  • Fishing
  • Route 66
  • “Mohave Rattlesnake” – twistiest section of Route 66 with 222 curves in under 10 miles.

FAQs

Is your event all ages?

The Wild West Rendezvous is geared towards those 21 and up! “Town Square” can get quite rowdy, and inappropriate for children. We can’t even guarantee that everything will be “G” rated even during the day. Remember, nudity is not an invitation, and total respect is required. Zero tolerance.

Can I reserve a specific spot?

All spots are first come, first serve.  This applies to tent camping, rv spots, trailer spots and car parking.

Are tickets refundable or transferable?

Refunds are issued thru our ticket sales venue, Eventbrite, as per their guidelines. We are sorry but we are unable to transfer tickets.

Can I buy multiple tickets?

You can buy multiple tickets for your group. However, please realize you will be the ONLY person in control of collecting and distributing the tickets. Be prepared if you open this can of worms as we don’t want to be the ones telling your buddies they can’t get in until you show up. If you want to do this, make sure you get to camp first, we’ll give you all the tickets you purchased and then you can hand them to your friends.

What does a ticket cover?

A ticket gets you 2 nights and 3 days tent camping at our property, participation in the games, contests and activities, informal bike show, entertainment, music (live and/or Memorex), and more..

Motorcycle Only Event?

Primarily motorcycles, yes…. But not ONLY motorcycles. To make room for everyone who rides in, cars and trucks will have to park in the RV/Trailer area. Inside “Town Square”, and the tent camping area will be strictly motorcycles only.

I am arriving late, what do I do?

We will help you get in no matter what time you arrive. We do recommend getting in for the night by 6:00PM as that is when most of the festivities will kick off.

Are services close by?

The towns of Kingman, AZ and Laughlin, NV are each within 15 miles or so of the Saddle Sore Ranch. Each is well-stocked with everything you could need. Gas stations, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, WalMarts, convenience stores, rafting outfitters, breweries, etc.

What type of motorcycles are allowed?

All motorcycles and trikes are welcome. Due to our location, we don’t get many “Trailer Queens”, and that is just fine by us. It’s the rider that makes the bike, not the other way around, so show up with a good attitude and any motorcycle and you’ll be good to go.

I don’t ride, can I still attend?

Absolutely! Depending on who all hangs back at the Ranch during the day, and doesn’t go out riding and exploring the area, we throw together some games and activities, or you can do your own thing.. We hope this event acts as a catalyst to get you out on a motorcycle if you decide to come in your car the first time around.

Can I swim in the Colorado River?

Of course. Be careful and use common sense. There are many places up and down the river with good swimming holes and great fishing spots. You can also find rafting trips, and jet ski rentals very easily.

How do I become a vendor?
